Universal Law 40 - The Law of Attraction

If you would attract certain things to you, you must be that thing. If you desire love, be love. If peace, be peace; if harmony, live harmoniously. You do attract, or draw to you only the qualities you possess, for like attracts like matter. And so we come to you, the magnet.

You are like a magnetic force, you draw to you what you desire; you repel other things. Of this you may be sure: nothing will ever come to you unless you draw it to you through a like thing within you.

Now, then, since you are the magnet, what are you going to draw to you? Start with love. These laws revealed are exact, unfailing laws, but you still must prove them.

Prove this law of love in this manner: suppose there is someone whom you do not like. You want to love all, so you should like to love this one also. Very well, each day say silently to this one; “Behold, I love you. I want this same love to shine forth to me. I shall radiate this love back to you.” It will not be long before this law of attraction will, prove itself. You will draw love to you. And so it does work in all things, for LAW IS
